What does the Linens and Towel Pack includes?

Base Relax comes with a duvet, duvet cover, bed sheet, pillow, pillow cover and bath towel.

What does the Kitchen Pack includes?

The Base Kitchen pack contains all the kitchen essentials for a comfortable stay: 2 mugs, 2 glasses, 2 small plates, 2 large plates, 2 breakfast bowls, 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 large spoons, 2 small spoons, 1 pot, 1 frying pan, cooking utensils (cooking tweezers, spoon and turner), 1 large kitchen knife, 1 paring knife, 2 plastic cutting boards.

What should I bring with me when moving in?

When moving in, you will need to bring your own bedding and towels, as these are not provided. You should also bring your cooking essentials, including pots and pans, crockery, and cutlery for your daily use.

When do I need to move out?

You will need to move out at least 14 days before the contract ends, as required by Danish rental law.

Can I extend my stay beyond my contract?

All contracts are open-ended with a 3-month notice. You may cancel and later retract if an apartment is available.

What is the move-out process?

You need to terminate your contract 3 whole calendar months prior to departure. You will then receive an email close to your move out month regarding the process.

Is there CCTV in the building?

Yes, there is a CCTV system in all our properties.

Is there staff on-site?

Yes, there is a staff on-site 24×7.

What should I do if I lose my key or access card?

Contact the on-site team – replacement fees apply.

What is the check out bedroom cleaning fee?

Cleaning fee is based on the room’s condition.

When do I need to pay my deposit?

A deposit is required when you finalize your reservation. For properties in Denmark, the deposit is equivalent to tree months’ rent, and you must also pay the full first month’s rent upfront.

Can I terminate my contract early?

For tenancy agreements in Denmark, a notice period of the current month plus three full calendar months applies. Termination can only be initiated after your contract start date, and the tenancy will always end on the last day of a month.
If you wish to terminate your tenancy, please submit your termination request online through your Basecamp profile under the “Termination” section. Once we have received your request, we will confirm the official end date of your tenancy.
Please note that you are required to move out 14 days before the confirmed end date. This period remains payable by you and is used to prepare the room for the next tenant. Rent must be paid until the official end date of your tenancy and cannot be deducted from the deposit.

Can I change rooms after moving in?

Room upgrades may be possible – please check with the on-site team, subject to availability.

Is parking available for residents?

Parking is available in some of our residences, for an additional fee.
You can check whether parking is offered at your chosen property on the detailpage of our website. If parking is available, it will be clearly listed among the amenities.
If you do not see any information about parking on the website, this means that parking is not available at that particular building.

Is bike storage available?

Yes, bike storage is available in most of our properties. To be sure, please check the amenities section of the specific student accommodation you are interested in.

Can I choose my exact room or studio?

You’ll be able to choose the category you prefer when booking, and we’ll allocate a specific room for you before your arrival. You will immediately be assigned a room from your chosen room category. This will be visible in your account in our reservation system. While we can’t guarantee a particular room, we do our best to accommodate any preferences you share with us.

Is a deposit required?

When finalising your reservation, we require a deposit.
In Denmark, 3 months in addition to full payment for the first month. Your deposit will be held until the end of your tenancy. If the room is delivered in the same condition you received it, we will refund the full deposit.

The deposit will be refunded, if applicable, within 6 weeks from the official tenancy end,
